Study for test

 Today in class we studied for our vocabulary test on Tuesday. We had to do some things in a notebook along with a sentence to go with the words. I think I understand the vocabulary words pretty well from doing this exercise and the other assignment we had on Monday. Also, I already knew some of the words. I luckily finished all my work in class today and submitted it online. The class environment was quiet and chill as usual.

Poem about a heartbreak

 Today we read a poem about heartbreak as a class. The poem was called "Heart! We will forget him!" by Emily Dickinson. We took some notes, wrote definitions throughout the poem, and did a short activity with a heart. One side was for the mind and the other for the heart. We also thought of a few themes for the poem, one of the themes I put was that you should listen to your mind over your heart. For the activity we also drew pictures, colors, and words from the text.

Vocab 2

 Today we got a new list of vocabulary. I think the test is next week, I can't remember. Today we just had to write the definitions and a sentence for each word. We also had to fill in the blank with all the words. It was easy and I thought I couldn't finish it in class but I did with extra time left over.
