Imagine it's the year 2050. What does the world look like? How have technology, society, and the environment changed?

Prompt Response:  In 2050 I see flying cars. They would cost like billions of dollars though. Most of the plants and animals in the world dead. More uneducated people. And the world spiraling down. Basically time for the Resurrection. Summary:   We read 3 more chapters and did the questions Reflection: I learned that Grant never prayed.

Imagine writing a letter to yourself 10 years from now. What advice, hopes, or reminders would you include?

Prompt Response: A letter I would give myself 10 years from now would say to keep going. No matter where i’m at or who i’m with. I should keep going forward, keep doing something. Life is nothing without a goal so once you achieve one, make another. Summary: We worked our project. Reflection: I learned new songs.

Describe your personal approach to creativity. What steps do you follow when you’re working on a project. Tell me about a project you created that you were most proud of.

Prompt Response: My creativity is really just off my mind. I like to make nothing look like something, literally. Like ill look at lines and somehow end up seeing a heart or a dog. The steps I follow when working on a project or anything is just staying in order.  Summary: We worked on our project  Reflection: I learned some new songs.

Describe a time when you took a hiatus from something important. What led to the break, and how did it impact you?

Prompt Response:  A time I took a hiatus from something important was when I took a break from track. I loved track so much and still do. I just decided to take a break because I was young and thought I needed it but what I needed was to push myself more. My parents let me take a break because their not controlling or anything but I wish they made me stay. I was around the time Covid came as well so I wasn’t do anything but eating and I started to gain a lot of weight. Summary: We wrote the new definitions down and did a assignment matching the definitions with the sentence. Reflection:  I learned that Idiosyncrasy is a peculiar personality trait.

Write about something that you heard that you wish you could unhear.

Prompt Response:  Something that I heard that I wish I could unhear is when people say 12th grade is scary. I don’t want to really hear that because people always say negative or bad things about every grade unless it’s elementary or something. I feel like I worked to hard for my senior year to be “scary”. I did everything to prepare myself since middle school and this year im wrapping it all up so when i get to my senior year I can somewhat enjoy it. Summary: We did a semester check and worked on missing assignments. Reflection:  I learnd that I should do a little bit better making sure my assignments are submitted on time.

Write about a moment when you felt you had the power to make a difference in someone else's life.

Prompt Response:  A moment I felt I had the power to make a difference in someone’s life is when my friend was getting cheated on. I been through her situation so I knew how to help her out and make her feel less hopeless. I told her to be grimy back and do something 10x worse. Summary: I did the discussion questions. Reflection: I learned that Grant is becoming more confident in himself and finding success in his goal.

Describe a place where you feel the most at peace and explain why.

Prompt Response: A place I most feel at peace is my man house because everything about him brings me peace. I be so calm and relaxed around him and his family. He home changes me as a person from negative to positive. Summary: I did the discussion questions

Describe a time when someone’s words had a lasting impact on you.

Prompt Response:  A time someones words had a lasting impact on me was when my teacher said  "Don't just chase what you're good at chase what you care about."   It made me realize that fulfillment comes from aligning effort with passion, even if it means facing challenges or starting from scratch. Summary: I did the discussion questions. Reflection:  I learned that him and his girlfriend plan a future together

Reflect on a time when you had to rely on someone else. How did it feel?

Prompt Response: A time I had to rely on someone else was when I broke my arm. Every part of your body is needed because once one part is gone it’s hard to continue on regularly. My mom or grandma had to start driving me around more and I was driving less. I couldn’t do simple things like bathe good enough or get ready in the morning for school. Summary: We did discussion questions for chapters 13-15 and started on a collage.  Reflection:  I learned the Themes of the chapters we read.

Write about an object that holds sentimental value and why it’s important to you.

Prompt Response:  A object that holds sentimental value to me is my phone. My phone is so important to me because I do everything with it and it’s so convenient. It’s apart of me and everything I do in life. So me without my phone is devastating. Summary: We did a paper assignment on a Character and found evidence about them in the book using STEAL. Reflection:   I learned that Jefferson had little to no hope for himself throughout the story after he got sentenced.

Write about a moment when you had to step out of your comfort zone.

Prompt Response:   A time I had to step out of my comfort zone is when I first decided to play basketball. I had to learn how to be more tougher and fierce with things mentally and physically. Before basketball, I ran track which had no physical contact or anything we just raced and sometimes even handed off batons. Now basketball I have to guard someone, box out someone, and maybe even get a shot off over someone. Summary: We read Chapters 10-11 on A Lesson Before Dying and did the discussion questions with a letter of advice made. Reflection:  I learned that Miss Emma did not want to accompany Grant to the jail. I read that in Chapter 10 of A Lesson Before Dying.

If you were President of the United States of America, what are 5 things that you would do and why?

Prompt Response:  If I were president of the United States of America I would bring abortion back, less tax cuts for the rich, more funding to the department of education, give more to foster camps, and suggest doing popular vote instead of electoral college. I would bring abortion back because the government should have no right over anyone and their decisions. I would have less tax cuts for the rich because it is not fair how people in poverty are getting their last or little bit of money deprived from them while the people who have what they need and more get less taken from them. More funding to the department of education because most schools are poorly cared for and some things are just so old they need to be redone. I would give more to foster camps because the kids get treated less or differently just because they don't have anyone to watch over them legally. I would  suggest doing popular vote instead of electoral college because I feel like electoral college v...

Write about a dream that felt real

Prompt Response:  A dream that felt real was when I was in a hair salon with my best friend and it was her turn to get her hair done. While i was waiting for my turn a nice lady came up to me and we became cool with the time we had waiting. It was then my turn to get my hair done and I tried to steal from the lady before I got up and left. She noticed and quickly turned into her true self, which was a demon. She grabbed me and we appeared at this strange house. She then made me be her servant and every time i tried to run away she would kill me and I would reappear in the same weird house. Summary: We answered 10 questions using 2-3 sentences on canvas. Reflection:   I learned that some characters we have read about are relate able to some songs.

Summarize your holiday break. In addition, write about 5 personal goals that you want to achieve in 2025. Explain why you chose those goals.

Prompt Response:  This break I didn’t really do much. I was just glad I was on break because I been doing a lot lately and felt like my stress was going up. So I really just stayed in the house and then I got strep throat so I couldn’t go anywhere if I wanted to. Right after I wasn’t sick anymore I had basketball practice and that’s all I did over the break. Five personal goals I want to achieve in 2025 are: getting my gpa up, being more obedient, being honest, getting a job, and getting my license. I chose these goals because I want to be a good leader for my brother, little cousins, and future kids to say that I had a good gpa so they can too. I want to be more obedient and honest because doing the opposite just brings bad luck and karma. I want to get a job because I don’t want to wait like most people and move out to college or wait with their parents after graduation, I want to move out asap. I want to get my license because I dont want to wait until i’m 18. Summary: We...
