 Prompt Response: A time someones words had a lasting impact on me was when my teacher said "Don't just chase what you're good at chase what you care about." It made me realize that fulfillment comes from aligning effort with passion, even if it means facing challenges or starting from scratch.

Poem about a heartbreak

 Today we read a poem about heartbreak as a class. The poem was called "Heart! We will forget him!" by Emily Dickinson. We took some notes, wrote definitions throughout the poem, and did a short activity with a heart. One side was for the mind and the other for the heart. We also thought of a few themes for the poem, one of the themes I put was that you should listen to your mind over your heart. For the activity we also drew pictures, colors, and words from the text.

Vocab 2

 Today we got a new list of vocabulary. I think the test is next week, I can't remember. Today we just had to write the definitions and a sentence for each word. We also had to fill in the blank with all the words. It was easy and I thought I couldn't finish it in class but I did with extra time left over.
