Describe a time when you had to speak in front of an audience. What were your fears? How did you handle them? What advice would you give to someone struggling with stage fright?

Prompt Response: A time i had to speak in front of an audience was when I did a presentation about the history of my name in US History class. My fears were that people would make fun of me because I had to put pictures of myself on the presentation. I handled them by not looking at everyone, I just looked down or at the wall straight ahead. The advice I would give to someone struggling with stage fright is to believe in yourself, don’t listen to the negative thoughts, and prepare yourself, and don’t overwhelm yourself.

Summary: We did a paper of notes on interactive public speaking.

Reflection: I learned that the number one fear is public speaking.
