 Prompt Response: Over the break things were chill for me. I went to church on Sunday and learned about prayer. One thing in prayer that you have to do is being importune with what you want. It is imperative that you take time to listen to God quietly in prayer. Remember anything that you feel is immutable pray to God about it and confess. You cannot receive what you pray for if you are idolatry. That is ignoble.

Summary: We did a comic strip on our new vocabulary words.

Reflection: I learned that another word for barrier is impediment.

How do you find time to enjoy your day, even when you have a lot going on? Write about at least three specific things you do to enjoy small moments throughout your day.

When something bad happens, I try to take  one moment at a time. I remind myself  it’s okay to be upset, angry, or sad. Breathe deeply and focus on small  tasks instead of the whole day at once. Lean on someone you trust, even if it’s just to talk or sit quietly together. I remind myself that even the hardest feelings are temporary. We did common lits.
