 Prompt Response: If I had to write a poem about my life right now i would write about how i’m getting older. Im getting older but i’m not old enough for things. I would also talk about how I'm a teenager and how it is being a teenager in 2025. How i make more of my own decisions and realize I am my own person.

Summary: We made a found poem on chapter 29 of a lesson before dying.

Reflection: I learned that a found poem is just short phrases or words in the novel that you take out and annotate into a poem.

How do you find time to enjoy your day, even when you have a lot going on? Write about at least three specific things you do to enjoy small moments throughout your day.

When something bad happens, I try to take  one moment at a time. I remind myself  it’s okay to be upset, angry, or sad. Breathe deeply and focus on small  tasks instead of the whole day at once. Lean on someone you trust, even if it’s just to talk or sit quietly together. I remind myself that even the hardest feelings are temporary. We did common lits.
