 Prompt response- A holiday I look forward to most is Christmas. Christmas is a time where you not only give and receive. It’s where we celebrate the birth of Jesus. Although his birthday is unknown we still celebrate it as a Christian.

Poem about a heartbreak

 Today we read a poem about heartbreak as a class. The poem was called "Heart! We will forget him!" by Emily Dickinson. We took some notes, wrote definitions throughout the poem, and did a short activity with a heart. One side was for the mind and the other for the heart. We also thought of a few themes for the poem, one of the themes I put was that you should listen to your mind over your heart. For the activity we also drew pictures, colors, and words from the text.

Vocab 2

 Today we got a new list of vocabulary. I think the test is next week, I can't remember. Today we just had to write the definitions and a sentence for each word. We also had to fill in the blank with all the words. It was easy and I thought I couldn't finish it in class but I did with extra time left over.
